I would like to make some xmas tree baubles but don't know what to use for the base. Help!

It all depends what type you are planning on making. By 'bauble' do you mean a round shape, a bell, a tree, an other type or all the above.

If you don't mind using a commercial "paper mache" product, you might find the new tutorial on my site interesting.
