Details

The life-sized central mask is a shell of layered Kraft paper. The trees and roots are twined newsprint; the leaves are made with three colors of gold paper. The supporting circular rails are layered boxboard, covered with Kraft paper, then colored tissue paper. The central mask weighs a little over 1 pound, and is supported by nylon fishing line and decorated with glass, plastic and crystal beads. The piece is 27" in diameter and weighs in total a little more than 2 pounds. It is made of approximately 85% recycled materials.

Beautiful work,
what a very lovely way to mount a mask for presentation...
can the mask still be worn? does it come off the delicate web at all?
