Mother Earth was my first attempt at doing assemblage boxes and incorporating papier mache. There are so many ways to use this wonderful medium and once the door opens, it just explodes into all different avenues for you. I used a mold from Amaco for the face, and built her up with papier mache and embellishments. These are really fun to do and I have many more on my website.
