Details

An alien I made that manages to look bright and friendly, yet somehow just a little sinister at the same time. I love playing with the combination of bright colours and black and white stripes. I think maybe it comes from loving Tim Burton movies ever since I was very young.

This guy is made from a chicken wire armature coated in strip papier mache, painted with acrylics and varnished. I used foil as the armature on the inside of his mouth, which is how I got such a smooth concave curve.

I am currently doing a series of these aliens, with a similar shape but in different colours (and with different numbers of eyes etc). Email me if you would like to know more, or to be informed of when I have photos of them up.

Thanks for looking!
