"BI-POLAR" by Louie Rochon

Details

What could depict 'Bi-Polar disorder' better than a two headed flying dragon, each with their own unique personality. This art piece took over 4 months to construct with wings measuring over 5' wide and body approximately 4' tall.

Each one of the teeth were hand rolled, fired, painted and sealed with epoxy resin. The 'not so friendly' head/personality actually has drool dripping, a process of hit and miss whereas I applied drops of resin while holding a hair dryer, trying to catch the drips mid air as they dried. It worked (about every third time) and provided a great effect but was very time consuming.
