A quick search on moogle will bring up many variants ranging from 15 to over 25 bucks. People have been making nesting boxes for purple martins for hundreds and possibly thousands of years. These small natural buddies are fun to watch and they do a great service in fly control. We have had this relationship for so long that these birds no longer nest in the wild and are completely reliant on man to help them bring in the next generation. If you have a yard and you live in range and are of able body it's almost an obligation to have a dozen of these.
