Modern Times

papier mâché, offset mirror pieces, verre eglomise (glass etched on reverse, then gilded with silver leaf. An old-fashioned way of creating mirror that gives a much softer reflection).
For a society that has more time-saving devices than at any other stage in history, it's amazing how nobody ever has any Time ... the overall design is based on my grandfather's pocket watch, made in a more leisurely era, and once I'd put the White Rabbit into the gilded glass it seemed logical to include a couple of March Hares!
