Borola Burrón

Details

This doll was made for the exhibit "Tribute to Gabriel Vargas", que was the creator of a Mexican comic called "Familia Burrón" that is about the life of the families and life of Mexico City.
He passed away last May, and this figure calledd "Borola" was the mother and for me the most important character of the family Burron, strong and clever, looking for her family to survive financial crisis among many other things, but with a lot of humor.
Mi tribuet to Mr. Vargas, an icon in Mexican folk life.

Hi Ruti!

Thank you very much for your kind comments about myk gallery.

I'm not Jouish, I'm Christian.

But I love to have a cousin or relative Jouish ;) if you come to Mexico you will find that many persons here have that second name (last name).

Best regards,
Saludos desde Mexico
