My desire to create works in 3 dimensions appeared with the emergence of computers and virtual modes of communication: I wanted to surround myself with tangible objects, made by the hand of the man and marked voluntarily by a certain clumsiness. I wanted to contrast human warmth with the coldness of industrial productions and machines.
In a society of overconsumption without respect for the environment and where money reigns supreme, it was imperative to buy as little as possible and to work from recycled or 100% natural materials. with the use of old newspaper, cardboard packaging, etcetera.
I do not know how to paint, so I usually prefer to leave my works white, use tinted pulp or cover certain parts with gold leaf.
