It is to get through the winter, returning from a long Mexican stay, that I started investigating the "papier mâché" possibilities. I then began with the making of pinatas, which I made for the children of my family. Most of my inspiration comes from my mexican memories.
Then, the children having grown, I started shaping animals and wall pieces. More recently, I learnt the technique of mosaic and now I enjoy adding some elements of glass to my pieces. That's the magic of "papier mâché": Starting from nothing. Really, what could be more creative?
This summer I wish to share the technic I recently developed, mixing mosaique with "papier mâché". That's why I posted in my gallerie the main steps of this long run process. I'll be glad to read your comments and answer your questions.
Thanks for visiting my gallerie.
