Introduction

I love the process of using papier mache; how tactile it is, i love getting my hands in it, i don't even mind how it tends to get all over every door handle and phone in my place.

I dream about animals. Once there was a 4 foot long caterpillar in the middle of a room - looking/waiting for me. He was shiny green-- sparkly like the paint on a dune buggy. My first caterpillar was that big.

Collage is an important element in my sculptures... i tear magazines and newspapers and arrange by colors, like a painter's pallete. The hardware, wire, and found objects juxtapose with the papier mache. I'm very happy working, especially when i uncover something new.
