I am a retired commercial traveller. I have been making papier mache figures for about fifteen years. I have previously worked in ceramics and drawn topical cartoons for local papers. I like the idea that it is possible to make a reproduction of almost anything from paper and glue. I use modelling clay for armatures, also cereal packet card, occasionally pulp papier mache and florists wire. It can be wonderful fun.
