Doing paper mache gives me such a calm and euphoric feeling. I feel the paper and paste communicating with me. Several of my pieces have started out as one thing but 'evolved' into something totally different in my hands. (My 'Embossed Arabia' started out being a duck!) I love being able to make things from something one would normally throw away. I have never considered myself artistic, but I have always been able to 'put things together' to make art projects for my students. (I am an ex- kindergarten teacher-now administrator). Paper Mache has brought me so much artistic pleasure. I hope you like my pieces.
