Night time light bulb ideas.

Being new to this model making thing I am having weird things happen to me like last night I woke up and had inspiration for 2 new creatures to make and had to write them down.
They were complete with items of junk to use and everything.
Also the cat I am working on had fat legs and in the night I realised I would have to deconstruct them and slim them down (which I have done today).

Is this normal ......??
and has anyone else deconstructed a model or is this due to being a beginner?

Sounds like the rot has truly set in!

Consider yourself now hooked on papier mache.

There is no cure. smile

Light bulb??
Q.  How many papier mache artists does it take to change a light bulb?
A.  It depends what they want to change it into.
lol

ob·ses·sion - To pursue a favorite project or idea relentlessly and unceasingly; to become excessively preoccupied with papers, glues, wires, sticks, paints, colors, etc.

It could be worse!

You are not alone, Alisha.

Here is a genuine, antique, papier mache brain:  http://www.antiquescientifica.com/archive59.htm

Except for the antique part, I'm sure it closely resembles many of the brains who post here on the forum and in the gallery. (And no, that isn't an insult to the great posters here.  If I insult someone, I absolutely leave no doubt about it...  8-)

Re: Night time light bulb ideas.

I am so pleased to have found a 'home' lol.
My brother in law yesterday was asking what all these items were for, as if to say they had to have a purpose or it was a waste of time doing them.
He looked quite perplexed when I said I am doing it just for fun and it makes me happy.
Obviously hes  never done anything just because he enjoyed doing it and I found that a bit sad.

How about putting them in a gallery?

Re: Night time light bulb ideas.

Your an artist. this is the way most artists think. Not just us PM'ers . I will stop in the middle of making supper to write down an idea. I will wake up and write another one down. for every one item that gets finished I have thought of at least 100 and started at least 10. You do learn to live with it. And if those around you cant then it is just sad for them.
