All of my figures are hand made, using paper mache'. They are then air dried, painted, sealed, and sprinkled with sugary glitter. I also antique and distress each piece to look a little time worn and number each one.
Most are my own designs, while some are my version of antique german figures and candy containers. I do sometimes use molds, but the majority of my pieces are hand sculpted. I will note on a piece if a mold was used to make it. Each piece is one of a kind, but if you would like something that is already sold, I will make it for you; although it won't be exactly like the original. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. Some pieces will not be made again however.
I love antiques and vintage things. When I look at something made long ago, I think; this was once special to someone. Through my art, I hope to bring back lovely memories of childhood. A time when, "play", was using our imagination, in a place called..."Make Believe".
