The Ham, Two

"Klemperer's" book and lyrics were written by William Squier, who at that time was writing for Disney's show "Doug." Music was written by Norman Weiss, whom I believe was the music director for Phantom on Broadway in NYC. The following year, Klemperers' opened off-Broadway. The director wrote and asked if he could borrow my ham! It went and returned unharmed. So, it's been the closest we've gotten to having someone in our family on Broadway!!

And a sensational ham it was, too! Thanks, Karen! -- W. Squier

Mr. Squier! How wonderful to see your comment! We have such terrific memories of Klemperer's. I hope you're doing well and are hard at work adding joy to the universe!
