Thanks for stopping by my gallery!

I'm Tine, the jewelry designer of the popular line of Soul Birds jewelry which I make from papier mache. I am also a mixed-media artist and create 3-D collages on stretched canvasses on which I use parts that I make from papier mache. I love working in 3-D but also to illustrate in the traditional way with brush and paper or markers.

Born in Hamburg, Germany, I traveled the world as a photographer and graphic designer before getting married and settling down in British Columbia, Canada in 2002. I mustered up the courage to follow my heart and started my own business selling my art and jewelry in 2005. Since then my Soul Birds have gained worldwide recognition.

I celebrate my love for nature, beauty, people, philosophy and life itself in my jewelry and art. I am inspired by all things around me and love helping others realize their dreams.
I established 'Studio Friday' where artists meet for a weekly challenge in their studios after a topic is posted.
